Solve : HDD not up to full potential.?

Answer»

It partitioned fine, with another partition (and separate drive) at 107 GB. Thanks for all the help.BC, it was the problem, which is why it created a 128Gb partition instead of using the full amount of space available.
Now that service packs have been APPLIED XP can see the WHOLE drive, allowing thquart to create another partition so it can be used.
Do you follow me?hmm, I was confusing the issue- I know what you mean now, I was confusing BIOS drive problems with OS Drive handling problems, or something. It's just a OS issue (as indicated by the SP fix) LIKE the FAT drive limit of 2GB (except the 128GB limit was an arbitrary limit in XP and not a Filesystem issue...)
