ok i got a new case new motherboard and a new hard drive
so i go to put in xp the thing is its not real i got off some dude for 5 bucks
anyway iam installing it and the dam thing slows down at a part where it says its coyping
fill to my instation floder but it stops at 72% and says cant install fill press ESC for skip this fill so i press it but it keeps doing that for every file and takes for ever to load the file and to tell me to press esc
i have vista but it will not start only from xp
help in need of help new person in need of helpI'm guessing your PROBLEMS started when you bought a copy of XP from "some dude" for $5, but I'm no expert...Check your RAM is seated properly and that it is compatible with your motherboard. Failed INSTALLS of XP accompanied by failure to copy named files can sometimes be a POINTER to RAM troubles.
