Solve : Help choosing a printer?

Answer» HELLO all,

I need some help choosing a new printer. Right now I have a Dell Photo All-In-One Printer 922 that feeds the paper crooked through the printer. I also MISTAKENLY purchased a Dell refurbished ink cartridge for this printer that smudges the ink in spots when it prints.

Unfortunately, changing the ink cartridge won't solve the problem of the paper feeding crooked.

I just need something affordable (preferably under $100) and reliable that prints in b/w and color. There are so many reviews on the Internet that I don't know where to start.

Any suggestions on a solid printer for basic home use?A lot of people have problems with Dell printers. Most of them are made by Lexmark and require you to get exepensive ink through Dell.

I use HP and have been quite satisfied. Model numbers change constantly so go to Office Depot, Best Buy, etc. and look around at what is available in your budget by a major manufacturer. I got a nice all-in-one for <$99 LAST month.a small canon printer would be nice..very cheap ink.. The ONLY printer that you should buy is the Canon Pixma iP4200.
It is simply a perfect printer. It prints flawless lab-quality photos, and the clearest text DUE to it's seperate black text ink cartridge.
You can buy it for 60$ right now. It's worth a lot more, but because of the new models (which are identical to it in quality), Canon have lowered the price.
