Answer»

pleiz help,

i have intel mather board.which support pentuim 4.
it have two slots for a RAM.

slot [1] works well alone.
slot[2]works well alone also.
the two RAMs is of the same QUALITY works well in EITHER slots individually.
But the problem when i put both RAMs at the sametime in both the slots,it does not read me the total capacity of the RAMssummed together.

thankyou. date 4-9-2007 Sounds as if it is mis-matched RAM i.e. different speeds that don't play well together.
What does it say on each stick ? ?its normal if you dont have the total of your RAM..COZ windows using a little bit of it..Quote from: kuszmania9999 on SEPTEMBER 05, 2007, 12:42:50 AM

Ignore that post goobay, Windows can't influence the amount of RAM your BIOS detects.Sounds like one stick is a bit faster. If you take them out and look at the stickers they should tell you on there. Post what it says on the stickers and then we can tell you for sure.are you using the on board video? as long you are using on board video it also use memory. i suggest you to purchase a video CARD for able not to use the 64 mb memory in your ram or you can go to bios set - up to to change the agp aperture size.
