[/quote Its a laptop with integrated speakers. No audio device in device mgr. ] Check the sound properties and device manager first. What laptop is it?Look in device manager. Are there any yellow or red symbols? Also, What is new or different since the last time EVERYTHING worked properly (ie, new hw, new sw, virus, error, etc)?

Its a laptop with integrated speakers. No audio device in device mgr. ]

Check the sound properties and device manager first. What laptop is it?Look in device manager. Are there any yellow or red symbols?

Also, What is new or different since the last time EVERYTHING worked properly (ie, new hw, new sw, virus, error, etc)?
