Answer» My cat lay down across the bottom part of my keyboard, and before I could lift him off, the content on my screen was upside down
Restarting and trying to use the system restorer didn't help. The start-up information is the right way up until I get Windows "Welcome", which is upside down, and then everything else is.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? Is there a key combination that inverts the screen, and could maybe right it again? Not sure if I'm posting this in the right section - could the software have been upset?
Any solutions, tips or ideas would be very much appreciated!
ClaireCtrl-Alt-Up ARROW- right side up
Ctrl-Alt-Right Arrow- 90 degrees
Ctrl-Alt-Down Arrow- 180 degrees
Ctrl-Alt-Left Arrow- 270 degrees (If that doesn’t work, TRY Ctrl-Shift-R)
Many THANKS to Frankie and the website for IMMEDIATE solution . Control Alt Up restored my inverted screen to normal. Didn't find these commands in Microsoft list, but maybe I was in too much of a panic. Best, Claire They aren't Microsoft controls, thats why they wouldn't have been found. Ctrl+Alt+Arrow key is a combination used by many video display drivers to reorient the screen. Thanks, DeltaSlaya . I don't know much about infotech and it's useful to find out that there are more levels of information AVAILABLE than I'm aware of. Best, Claire
