Solve : HELP ME PLSS,my comp wont boot?

the problem just came up today.my computer actually runs well before but,suddenly freezes,i restarted my computer then the problem came,now computer wont boot, it will just beep and wont continue to OS start up,and sometimes does not display anything, and displays partly.i tried to change the the slot where my ram is hooked in,but still it wont boot, what should i do?? my computer also automatically powers on without me turning it on with power button.it just powers up when i power on my avr, i did'nt have this problem before my computer freezes and i restarted it.plss help mecomputers make/model please. if this is a custom computer what is your motherboard make/model?

how MANY beeps are you hearing? if there are short and long beeps present, remember how many of each and in what order they are in.i only hear one short beep,the mother board is MSI i realy cant tell all the details of the comp or specs because its not mine its my friends comp. i only remembers is it is intel 3.08ghz with 512 mb ram,with a MSI motherboard, it only has an onboard v card.thats all i remember.i try LOOK at it today.hope you could help me.we need to know the exact motherboard model, or computer make/model if it is a prebuilt. different motherboards use different BIOS's and different BIOS' have different beep codes.System Manufacturer: MICRO-STAR INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD

this narrows it down to either the motherboard or the PSU. i suggest trying ANOTHER known-working PSU on your computer of the same, or of greater, wattage.First off...you said "my computer"...now it's your "friend's computer"...

It would help if you could tell us what you were doing on the computer prior to this happening...and whether or not there were any software or hardware changes prior to the problem...avr its my power regulator,sorry if i did'nt make it clear with which comp it is.
