Answer» I have an eMachines T6520 AMD Athon 64 3400+ 2.4GHz / 1GB DDR / 250GB HDD / 16x DL DVD±RW/ 48x CD-ROM / ATI Radeon Xpress 200 / 10/100 Ethernet LAN / Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 anyway the problem is that it freezes right all the time...for example, I run baulder's gate, an older game that this system should handle very well and during the intro movie it freezes...same with Halo PC and when burning DVDs I have to reboot the computer by holding the BUTTON in...it is accompanied by the cpu fan constantly increasing in SPEED until it is maxed out I've THOUGHT it may have been a video card issue so I put in an ATI Radeon pro 1300 card and it still does it... HELP me pleaseHeat, Bad PSU and Bad RAM are the most likely culprits. What temps? What if you take off the side panel and blow a fan in there? Any difference? What make and model power supply?
