I just had a computer built.when i turned it on a full white page keeps flashing white then a page of red,green,and blue bars.please HELP!!!


i tryed replacing the video card did not work!?!?!?!?Are the drivers installed? Is there already on onboard video on the motherboard?

Does the computer GIVE one or more beep tones?  If so, how many?

Does this start the very moment you power up your computer?  or does it happen after you hear the end-of-Power On Self-Test (POST) beep(s)?

run the direct x diagnostic tool..ooo I guess you cant if you can not see it..hmmm...what res are you using?  and what kind of monitor? Check your monitor settings..see if it supports the res you are using also check the refresh frequency...this is done by right clicking on the desktop and selecting properties, GO to your settings tab and click on the advanced button...go to the monitor tab you will see it about half way down...but for the time being see if you can get your HANDS on another monitor. neube:

Also: Check that the cables from the monitor to the PC & from the monitor to the wall outlet are firmly in place.  Sometimes they come lose & may mess up your display.
