Answer» HELP, i don't know what to do with this. one of my PC keeps on displaying this error message every time i turn it on. CMOS checksum bad CMOS DATE/Time not set press F1 to run set up press F2 to load default setting. I already change the CMOS battery but same error i see every time i turn my PC. If i press F2, then i need to change every now and then the Date and Time of my PC. What should it do to proceed right away to windows when i turn on my PC?What is make & model of computer?Try another battery...i've gotten them Dead out of the package. It's an Intel Pentium 4 2.80Ghz, 2GB RAM, 80GB HDD with an Asus P5RD1-VM Motherboard sir.Sir patio, i already tried 3 brand new battery and still same error i encounter every time i turn off all the power of my PC and turn it on again.Have you checked for viruses/spyware/malware?yes sir, already scan it with kaspersky anti virus and adaware for any malware. but same problem i saw every time i turn off (totally shut down and unplug my PC) and turn it on again.Do you unplug the PSU all the time ? ?
