I have a pretty new Sony VAIO laptop (I BOUGHT it in May). Just STARTING yesterday, it's been making weird noises, which seem to come from the bottom of the computer (if I put my hand UNDERNEATH I can feel slight vibrations). The sound goes on and off--it would go on for a couple seconds or up to a few minutes, then stop for a little bit, and begin again. The sound itself...well how do I describe it. It's like this whirring, like a FAN? Do you suppose the fan is broken (only my guess, I don't know much about computer issues)? What should I do?

Tell them you understood the warranty was for one year.
