Answer» thanks guys in advance of this ? i have a dell optiplex gx1, 128mb ram,40gb hdd, nothing special on it. thunderstorm CAME up. i believe lighting run in on it. i think it burn up psu. i BOUGHT a new one and replaced it but to no avail. however both old and new psu acts the same on my tester. is it possible the lighting run through the psu and destroyed the mb only? is it possible the new psu is bad too? the led lights COME on the front of pc. the LIGHT on the cd-rom also is on but will not open. can not cut pc off either without unplugging it. also removed memory to check mb for BEEPS but no beeps. also the cable co. modem had to be replaced. can anybody help me solve this problem? thanks so much. rodsupplyCompletely remove the modem and try again... |
