Answer» Hello everyone Im new and In desperate need of assistance. Today I by ACCIDENTALLY spilt soda into my computer and now whenever I boot it up I get a MESSAGE saying "Reboot and select proper boot device, or insert boot media in selected boot device and press any key" is there anything I can do about this? Is my computer finished? How do I fix this? Im sorry if I appear ignorant Im just totally shocked and WORRIED that my computer is absolutely finished. My brother is a mechanic and he says if I give it time to dry on the inside it might work so I should wait a while?hmm... could be fubar Is this a LAPTOP or desktop? It hasnt worked since Im going to try opening it up tonight.In most desktop machines the PSU is at the uppermost part of the case...if it does not boot up the 1st time i wouldn't try it much more times than that...
