Solve : Help setting up RAID please!? |

Answer» GDAY all! I am a BIT lost as to how to go about this. I have: ASUS Striker Extreme Mobo 2Gb Corsair RAM 80Gb HDD w/ Windows Vista Home Premium x64bit 2X 300Gb HDD I am wanting to set up these 300Gb HDD's into a RAID (600Gb storage). I have tried with the Raid setup utility (setting them as striping) Vista does not PICK them up in My Computer, but it picks them up as a blank disk in computer management. Unfortunatly from here It does not ALLOW me to format the disk or do anything to it. I have tried the disk in spanning and striping. Has ANYONE had a similar or heard of a similar problem? any help will be greatly appreciated The stratocaster When you installed Vista did you install the RAID driver from the mobo CD prior to configuring the RAID and installing the OS. |
