Any ideas any1
Cheers See if you can disable the FDD from the BIOS.i have tried disabling but the pc wont BOOT up afterwards but in the boot setup in BIOS theres no sign of it anywhere
What if you disable the FDD in the device manager? That way, the errors should stop.that does stop the errors but only until i restart the pc then the pc plugs and plays and finds the drive from outta no-where.
Thanks for the replies Did you uninstall or disable it?
Uninstalling it will cause it to be redetected. Disabling it should keep Windows quiet.
I suggest that you thoroughfully review the BIOS. The option to disable the FDD may be hidden under an advanced menu which could possibly only be accessed if you use a certain KEY configuration.
On the GA-7N400Pro with an Award BIOS (F14) it is CTRL + F1
What BIOS are is installed?
