Answer» HELLO guys, im fairly new to installing new graphic cards and to computer hardware in general so i hope you can help me out. My computer is a compaq Sr5000 with windows vista basic 32 bit New videocard is ATI RADEON HD 3850 I bought a new videocard since the one integrated in my computer is only 32MB and it does not cut it anymore when i try to render videogame graphics. So now i bought a DVI cable, pluged it and when i turn on my computer i get this meesage in my monitor that tells my i need to plug in a power cable into my video card. But my videocard doesnt appear to have a a slot in which to put the cables in. The fan on the videocard seems to be working accordingly, so i have no idea of whats going on. Any help or advice is welcomed and very appreciated. Thank you.You should ASK the guys you brought it from to install it for you. It's the best and if anything GOES wrong, they're to BLAME.
