Solve : Help with USB?

I got my gaming computer up and running, and right now the only thing that doesnt work are my USB hubs
i cant sync my ipod, i cant use my USB mouse, i cant use my flash drives. so im stuck.
in device manager all of the latest drivers are installed all of them are enabled, there is power going too them (cause my LITTLE usb powered christmas TREE lights up . ) but i cant sync my ipod or anything. can anyone help?Remove the Christmas tree...Quote from: joshthor on December 11, 2007, 12:45:01 PM

can we assume you built it yourself then? did you HOOKUP your USB CABLES correctly to your motherboard?first, why remove the tree? i have plenty of hubs and i have checked that one with my ipod and mouse and stuff and it didnt work, second, 4 of my usbs are built in to the motherboard, only 2 arent and the 2 that are i did plug in correctly.One thing you can try:
From Control Panel/System/Hardware/Device Manager...right click every instance of USB roots and hubs and select remove/uninstall.
Then on re-boot Windows will automatically re-install them.

didnt work I just have to ask... it PROBABLY has nothing to do with the problem...

Have you tried it without the tree?yes it doesnt make a difference
