Solve : Help with xcopy please?

I am trying to BACKUP a directory on my C:\ drive to a REMOVEABLE external drive F:\

When the batch file executes it results in :-

invalid NUMBER of perameters
press any key to continue........

This is what I am USING :-

@ Echo off
Xcopy C:\Shared Data f:\ /s/e/y/m

Anyone help please.put quotes around any PATH that has, or may have spaces in
