Due to the restrictions on the computer I'm using I can't download anything or use QBasic. (and for some reason cmdow @ /hid wont work :-/) Anyone got any ideas? looks disgruntled JoeYou can create a SHORTCUT for the batch file on the desktop. Right click the shortcut, click properties, click the program tab, and change the run parameter to minmized. Good luck.
