Solve : High and Low density?????? |

Answer» Whats the diference between high and low density memory and which one can i have in my desktop. I have a HP Pavilion a1429.uk with a ASUSTek Amberine M-GL6E A8AE-LE Socket 939 motherboard (which cant be found anywhere one the ASUS site but can be found on the HP site??) I have 4x512MB of DDR RAM PC3200 installed. I installed two myself from an older PC but, i was just browsing EBAY (thinking of upgrading my RAM again) and there was a seller saying he had high density RAM that would NOT WORK on ASUS boards. Then I started to get confused... Any HELP appreciated, RDggg This Page may help you. Basically, almost always, you will want low density RAM sticks. If you want to check which RAM is compatible with your mobo, take a trip to the Crucial site and input your mobo make/model and it will tell you which type of RAM which will be compatible.
