When i closed down a game down with task manager the game closed down and my screen went to bright high RESOLUTION how can i put it back to how it was...or how can i put it into default

Im using Windows Xpright click on your desktop and select properties the click on the settings tab and that will take you where you can set your resolution and as for the bright ness i'm not sure but you can try to adjust on your monitor see if that helps Is this a laptop or a desktop?

If it's a laptop, there should be a keyboard shortcut to change the brightness of the screen.

On both the Desktop and Laptop, you should be able change it via your Video Card settings.
There should be an option to do this when you right click your desktop.


If not, you should be able to find it in Control Panel.If the problem is really serious, you can reset the screen by tapping F8 whilst the computer is starting up (if the windows logo pops up, you have WAITED too long, WAIT until the system has FULLY booted up and restart it) and when the 'Advanced Startup Options' (or something like that) screen comes up, select 'Enable VGA mode' or some option related to that. This should reset the screen to the factory settings. Also, the graphics options BUTTON when right clicking on the desktop only counts for the Intel- related GPUs
