I am trying to connect a creative SERIAL modem to a NEW dell 8400. everytime I try to INSTALL the system crashes...

Please help, I am on a deadline to get this done....And you've called Dell?That would be your best choice, CONSIDERING you have paid for technical support WHILST purchasing the computer.
