I have an Acer Aspire X3910,its about have the size of a regular desktop.
I have own this for 6 months and Acer has already REPLACED the hard drive once.
The problem is that the hard drive runs hot. it usually runs about 145+ degrees F.
I have three apps that monitor the temp. ALSO the drive already has 10 SECTORS
that are bad. The computer sits in a well ventilated space.
Does anybody have any ideas about what I can do to lower the temp. without voiding the WARRANTY???
Ralph Have them replace it again. It's your only warranty option. That temp is way too high for any hard drive.Thank You , I think im going to do that.
