Solve : How can i change the setting for seeing hard drive in My Computer??

Respected Sir,
A 7 GB hard disk ALREADY exist in my PC. It’s running PROPERLY. Now I have bought an 80 GB hard. I want to fix this hard drive in COMPUTER with old one (7 GB). I attached this hard disk with computer but computer is not deducting this drive.
Please give me an advice to solve this problem.

I guess the other clarifications could be about the machine; OS installed ; Service Paks ETC. etc.
