Answer» Dear Experts,
I dropped my gamepad and the left bumper stopped working. So I took it apart and the bottom part (with the joysticks) had two buttons in the front. The left one was very loose and wouldn't come BACK out when I pushed it in. The black part behind it was bent backwards. When I pushed it forward, nothing happened, it remained loose. Please help. LOVE this gamepad. You have obviously determined that the devoice does not take well to the impact of a fall. Your issue will only be resolved by having the damaged part repaired.Whether this is a feasible course of action will be determined by costing out the repair versus replacing the entire unit. How much further DAMAGE you may cause by attempting to fix it yourself remains to be SEEN but it is certainly a possibility.truenorthJust about the only thing you can do is get a new controller.
I can tell you now that Logitech does not provide replacement parts to anyone. They'll direct you to eBay or some other place to buy another damaged product and do the repairs yourself. (I know this from experience.)Actually I have dropped my gamepad a few times before but all that REALLY happened was a stuck trigger which I fixed myself. You were lucky then but not this time.truenorth
