How do i make it so when peolpe click on a link it downloads a file? (As in what html codes do i USE or is there a certain name for the file and is there a certain way to upload it) PLEASE HELP!!!!! jrid06.....  It would really help if you would tell US exactly what it is your trying to do .


dl65  I am selling e-books on ebay and want to send a link to the winning bidder in an email for them to download the ebook. I have a domain and a hosting account. What do i do next.jrid06....ok ...... Then simply send the URL ( the web address)of wherever you have the Ebooked stored to your client and they can click on it and download it.
Do you have a website setup using your domain name and is the Ebook residing on that site ?
For example, a relative of mine has a property for sale ....and he wasnt satisfied with the pics and description that his realator had posted ........so he SENT me what he wanted posted ...and I added it to a website that I manage.......

That URL will TAKE one directly to the page with the pics and description of the property.   So in this case, you would have to have the Ebook UPLOADED to your site in a folder called "whatever" .........  Then the URL would be ........ "your website address"/ebook/
