Answer» Hi,
I currently have 2 HARDRIVES installed in my COMPUTER, one harddrive has vista on it and the other used to have windows 7 installed.(I have just formatted the harddrive that had windows 7 on because I WOULD like to use it as a storage drive) The problem is each time I REBOOT my computer I am still getting the screen prompt that asks which windows I want to boot to. I would really prefer it if just booted straight into Vista without asking me this, Inolonger have windows 7 installed and it's just a bit of a pain to keep getting this message. Thanks! Hi Crafty. I think simple hiding the Windows7 boot option would be a most simple and safe way. Right-CLICK on 'My Computer'; select 'Properties'; click 'Advanced system properties' on the left side of the window; on 'Advanced' tab click 'Startup and recovery' settings; make sure Your Windows Vista set as default operating system in drop-down menu and clear the checkbox prompting for 'Time to display list of operating systems'.Thanks!!
