Answer» Quote Go COBOL ! !My first language. But on this site BATCH is #1. Well, REALLY #0 cuz 0 is before 1 Look at this: As you can see, they do not list BATCH. Oh My! are they condoning fornication with neural tissue? Or PERHAPS they thought it was a clever NAME? Or maybe it's an acronym that ends up spelling that, but at the same time they couldn't pass up the opportunity to use a "swear" in a programming name, as it then gives high-school students everywhere a valid reason to say it. (condoning, fornication) ? strange words? "YES": "NO"Quote from: kpac on August 29, 2009, 11:22:46 AM You would have to be able to do a bit more than "hack" to launch a DDoS.Nope. All it takes is a few friends running the program, all typing in the desired web address and clicking one button.Quote from: Helpmeh on September 07, 2009, 02:38:49 PM Nope. All it takes is a few friends running the program, all typing in the desired web address and clicking one button. Wrong. Agreed. If this were true any yo-yo with an agenda would be doing this daily and we'd see stories about it all the time. BTW do you know what methods are used to prevent DOS attacks and how they work or are you just repeating something you heard ? ?it involves busying out the server so that it doesnt respond to requests btw have you ever had a SIGN you wanted to DoS down? i am not saying to do it i was just wonderingstreet signs and web servers don't need the same techniques to be brought down. Although a shovel or VEHICLE could be used to physically DoS a server.Quote BTW do you know what methods are used to prevent DOS attacks and how they work or are you just repeating something you heard ? ?Who are you asking?Quote from: kpac on September 09, 2009, 02:00:38 AM Who are you asking? Helpmeh, I'm pretty sure. |
