Solve : how to change media buttons?

Answer»

I have a toshiba satellite a105/s2071 laptop. On the left side under the power button are media buttons. A play/pause, stop, and next/previous buttons. When I hit play, it opens up windows media player. And then I can USE the other buttons to control the songs I want played. But I don't use windows media player. I use iTunes. I've gone into the settings and tried to change it, but it only shows windows media player as a player. Is there a way to change it to use iTunes? ThanksCheck your file associations.

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;307859&product=winxpok so I went to that website but it didn't help. I already have it set so when I open up a music file it opens with iTunes, but when I try to use the buttons play/next/previous/stop buttons they don't work in iTunes only for windows media player. The only place I have found to be able to change this setting is in a program named Toshiba Assist then I have to go to Toshiba Button Control. In there I see a setting for cd audio control, but it only lets me choose Windows Media player. There is no place to let me choose a different program to do it. Here's a picture of that. Hope that helps a LITTLE bit more. I really would LIKE to use those buttons instead of having to move my mouse everytime to click next. THANKS again.i guess its just not compatable with itunes, just set windows media to play itunes, simple... you might need a PLUG in for that though
