Solve : How to compare the number??

Hi,


I would like to MAKE comparing the month whether it is 1st of this year or not.
May I know how to compare the numbers?
I have been tested with %MM%==01 and mm==01.But it doesn't WORK.
%mm% has the value of current month.
Any idea please.

Usually an if statement is used for a comparison:

if %mm%==01 DoSomething
if not %mm%==01 DoSomethingElse
