Solve : how to copy and paste?

Answer»

is this copy and PASTE

[recovering disk space - old attachment deleted by admin]I guess that's better than calling them “drag and drop”.
People might get the wrong idea if you had babies with drag and drop on their shirts. How 'bout slave and master?Quote from: CBMatt on SEPTEMBER 01, 2010, 07:28:53 AM

How 'bout slave and master?

To be PC you can't even call hard drives that any more. There was a government agency that forbid using those terms internally. Not true. That is a popular myth based on a story from 2003 that was later blown way out of proportion. Many people still believe the terms are illegal/banned, but here is how the whole thing started:

Aside from the other topic that seems to inevitably grow from these threads, I THOUGHT very funny. Quote from: CBMatt on September 05, 2010, 07:10:47 AM

Here is a source that says it is true.

And I hadn't seen the CNN article about LA county, but I did see what seems to be a copy of a memo from a Federal agency about the same subject.rthompson, did you read that article?Yeah, what part are you referring to?Quote
Joe Sandoval, the Division Manager who issued the memo, TOLD Reuters that his memo was intended as "nothing more than a request" and not an ULTIMATUM or policy change
When an organization as big as LA County goes out of it's way to issue a memo to all of it's vendors to "request" something from it's vendors, it's not a simple request, but more like a demand.

PS: I wouldn't be surprised if the IT department still uses the term master and slave despite what management has decreed.Quote from: rthompson80819 on September 14, 2010, 03:38:11 PM

I didn't say it never happened. I was explaining that it was blown way out of proportion.
