Solve : How to create an Easter Egg in your website?? |
|
Answer» I love Easter Eggs! I adore all things that deal with puzzles, so I want to PUT and Easter Egg on my WEBSITE. Create a page, put the easter egg on the page and host it. Than, put a link to the page where most people won't click. (pictures, smileys, etc.) I would love to do that. BUT, I don't know how to create an EASTER EGG. I would love to be able to copy a simple one, just for fun. Or learn how to create my own. I am even willing to pay a few dollars for someone's Easter Egg they made. By "easter egg" you mean a hidden page right? Or are you talking about an actual easter egg. Quote from: Deerpark on February 03, 2008, 06:00:14 AM By "easter egg" you mean a hidden page right? LOL LOL I really thought I was going to fall out of my CHAIR when I read that! I guess I should be more specific - I need the kind you eat! :-) I googled Easter Eggs and this website came up! :-) LOL NO Just Joking - I want to put one on my website - A page that pops up , music that plays, a hopping bunny, A dancing teddy bear, etc... For me it doesn't matter, as long as it is FAMILY friendly. OH OH ... I just thought of one, if I knew how to write them! But this one would be harder. - Having the Starship Enterprise fly by and in the background Spock saying "Live Long and prosper" Wouldn't that be ultra cool!!?? BUT, for now, I will settle with a pop up or something else that is simple. :-)The type of thing you're talking about is not simple. Have you talked to your web designer about this? Have you considered something less complicated, such as simply putting some Easter egg or other Easter images on your website during Easter? Most websites doing this kind of thing use javascript. How do you about learning programming languages?I have one on my webpage... if you want to have a look go to www.isura.tk... it's not hidden, but it would be dead easy to make the button into a smiley for you (to make it an easter egg)Do you want a picture of an egg? If its that then it should be very easy.An easter egg is generally a hidden link that, once clicked, brings up something unexpected. Right? If that's what you're thinking you want, you could wrap a few characters with [/url] that makes a window pop up with a picture of spock flying over an egg-eating teddy bear. |
