Solve : How to get clean energy now.?

Answer» How to get clean energy now, not later.
There is no lack of people with ideas about how to use technology to produce clean energy for our present and future needs. Many of these ideas are very good, some not so good. But there is no lack for ideas. What is needed is a solution that will work now. Then later a solution for the long term. The  criticism of the CURRENT state of our technology does not improve the situation.
The key word is deployment. There is technology that works, and works very well. It has to be put to use. The real issue is how to convince everybody to use what we already know.
These remarks are not really my own. I have made a simple paraphrase of an article that appeared on CNet. Here is a link to the full article

Buy a diesel vehicle, convert it to biodiesel (cooking oil + diesel mix), its clean...er... Than a diesel... Running on diesel...

Nah, seriously though, I got an idea for a water tank based water turbine that draws water from an underground aquifer, or a creek, or some nearby water source. I cannot divulge anything further, though its only an idea, I don't want someone stealing the principal I've laid out in my head if it ACTUALLY works

I am quite literally sitting on a giant lake here in the Valley, so, its feasible to make ones own power plant.Part of the problem is the two wars which America has fought instead of directing the money elsewhere.  Part of the problem is that all the new RICH houses I see being erected do not seem to have any solar energy system built into them...including the solar energy shingles which can be place on the roof and then tied in with the home's electricity.  We bail out financial institutions, but we don't bail out Main Street, or provide enough incentive for people to more easily use alternative energy sources.  Our electric grid badly needs updating.  The president of e-solar, in a public radio interview, said his company could power vast areas of the country, but we don't have a grid to get the power from the solar collectors to the target areas.  We're a nation of GREEDY capitalists who value the individual above the needs of our society.  The parts of this country which have not been stolen have been sold, and mortgaged on the future of our CHILDREN. Note the adjective "rich". Majority of rich could care less about putting solar panels on their house. They don't have to worry about money, therefore they have no reason to worry about their energy, water, food, or gas bills.Agreed, but they're the ones who can afford to do it!
