Solve : How to install new BIOS Utilities etc??

I've just proudly updated my bios (on an ASUS P5B socket775 motherboard) USING the onboard program EZ-update.
But how to install the updates for BIOS Utilities, chipset, sound which I also found on ASUS WEBSITE? I TOTALLY blank on how and where to begin? Should I be running the OS (IM using winXP sp2 2003) and install from there? Or should I enter BIOS to begin with?
HOPE for a few helping words to get me started.
