Solve : How to merge hard drive with new one??

I want to do that RAID 0 thingy on my PC
I bought a new hard drive and put it in. my SYSTEM shows 2 working drives
I dont want to buy a PCI Slot Raid Controller.
how can i make these drives
250GB
160GB
and combine them to make ruffly 410 GB???

What are your goals for this RAID array as there are different SETUPS involved...

Not wanting to buy a RAID card MAY be an obstacle...depending on your MBoard.Yes, you can do that, BUT you'll have to loose your current OS unless you have another drive that you can copy everything over to and then back once the RAID is installed. You DO NOT need to buy a RAID card. It is faster if you do, but software RAID works fine too. EDIT: keep in mind that RAID systems are harder to access if the system fails because if you boot from CD you'll have to load the RAID drivers in order to access your partitions.
