Solve : How to re activate DOS commands in Win XP SP3??

hey,

one program disabled all my DOS COMMANDS to be interpreted.

My system is Win XP SP3.

I can get into DOS mode via Win Run> cmd, but cannot execute any commands; when trying the reply ALWAYS:

" the command, TYPED in" is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file

I guess the program might have updated a key in the Registry.

Any solution?
