PLS TEACH ME ON HOW TO UPDATE BOIS PLSSSS.....The first question you should answer is why you want to do this. Improperly doing this can create a ruined motherboard.

An idea of the motherboard would be helpful as well.And here's what can happen...the other thing is you are not telling us anything about the COMPUTER what is in it? what motherboard?, who made the computer. They are all different we can not help you without some info please.Well I don't recommend you for upgrading the bios. It should be the last resort when everything else fails besides it's the programs running in the OS is what makes your CPU a good CPU via program updates just KEEP the programs in their newest versions or update it to the latest patches and your CPU is as good as can be. Well if you still want too, pray that you do it properly as a wrong update = DEAD MOTHERBOARD, well I don't think if a wrong update has happened it has a fix or you can revert back. Every MotherBoard manufacturer has in their sites the bios to update their RESPECTIVE products try to go to your sites MotherBoard manufacturer and follow carefully the intructions... You've been warned... Think carefully. Good Luck. :-? :-/If you want to update the BIOS to make the PC compatible with Windows Vista, make SURE the rest of the hardware (such as the video card and RAM memory) can take what Vista can dish out, too.

...I have use the Vista Advisor, the installer is 6.6mb DOWNLOAD it in their site. Just run the program and it will tell you if your PC can cope up to Vista I hope this helps too. 8-) :-?
