Whats up CH?

I have a HP Webcam 3100. When I'm on a chat with someone via SKYPE it KEEPS SWITCHING from widescreen to normal size screen. It really gets irritating after a while coz the stupid AcrSoft program start blingking on the task bar again. Any suggestions on why this would be happening would help.
