Answer» The 2 documents attached were printed with my laptop using Excel (.xlsx) on 2 different printers. The example with all horizontal lines printed were done on my friends Printer (Ricoh Aficio. MP C305). The example with horizontal lines missed randomly was done on my printer (HP Deskjet 2540). What can I do to fix this? Settings on my printer are shown in this .jpg image: https://www.dropbox.com/s/tikqy97ynha99ya/Printer%20settings.jpg?dl=0

P.S I love your posts you give so much good INFO thanks. Same result printing via USB connection. Is the printer out of warranty? If this is for a home or small office, HP makes some printers under $100 that can do the job. They have a one year warranty. Of course, the cheap printer will not do as much output as the model you now have. Myself, I have been through many printers over the YEARS. I have found iIf a printer has high value, you need to find a good technician to help you. It's out of warranty. As an arm and leg amputee I have limited income and buying a new printer, even under $100, is a big deal. I was hoping to figure this one out. It prints just fine with all other documents and IMAGES (.pdf, .txt, .jpg, etc.). The issue is only with these Excel documents. That first made me think it was an issue with my Excel settings but it prints Excel fine when connected to my friends printer. Weird! Allegedly, based on some other forum posts from people having the same issue with their HP inkjet printers, if you export to an XPS file and then print the XPS file it works. Here is an idea. Make Excel send to document to the .PDF output. There is an option to print ALMOST any document to PDF.
The open the file with a PDF reader and print it to your printer. Can you do that? Awesome!!! They print just fine after I use the option; Export > Create PDF/XPS Document. Thanks once again for the help guys!
