i need help, was using my roommates ze4900 hp laptop and the screen went BLACK now when you turn on the pc it goes to a screen that looks like DOS mode all black with the little blinking CURSOR but you can't type anything in. can anyone help meThis sounds like overheating,or the ram is not fully seated.

The ram on a notebook,it being portable, tends to work
slightly loose at times from constant activity.How hard did it hit the floor ? ?
