Answer» The monitor to my oldest computer has GOT some ISSUES of being darker than it was years ago. This monitor's model number is D3857A. It is Hewlett Packard Pavilion 15" CRT monitor, ivory in color. Do you know if the Geek Squad at Best Buy might be able to look inside and see if there's a MASTER brightness control to turn up? I'd like to be able to see darker areas better when USING it. I have no problems turning the monitor on, as it has never failed me. My only other option is to go on eBay and use my savings to purchase a brand new 15" CRT monitor from 2002 that I saw yesterday.
