I have a HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC and the keyboard has stopped working properly. I cannot type the letter 'H' unless I use the Shift Key. INSTEAD, it keeps bringing up online speech recognition even when I have turned it off.
The FN button has also stopped working an now when I press it, the NUMBER 6 appears over and over. When I put the caps lock on to type, and then hold shift, random LETTERS just appear like 5ZC2VX,M? 5ZC2VX,5ZC2VX,M5ZC2VX,M
I have CLEANED keyboard and still no luck. Language settings changed and still no luck

First thing to try is an external keyboard.

In Windows 10 another keyboard can work separately while the main keyboard is broken.

Yes, external keyboard works.

What's weird is that the h key is now working and the FN key is back to normal but the 'j' key is now not working.

Shift key still has random letters coming up when used whilst caps lock is on

I have ordered a replacement keyboard. Hope this works
