when i try and turn my computer on the first thing that HAPPENS is the fan in the back TURNS on real loud and thats it! my screen wont turn on and nothing else responds. the fan keeps going and going until i turn it off manually. im on a laptop so i dont have much time, please help!

Have you tried adjusting the brightness and contrast?
Is there anything DISPLAYED on the LCD, such as a blinking cursor, or is it completely black even when you press keys on the keyboard?
Have the fans always sounded this loud?
Flamethe fans only got loud when the computer is first TURNED on, and then it gradually dies down.The monitor stays blank even when the computer is first turned on. but I dont think its a problem with my monitor, i think the computer itself is the problem.

Take it to a repair shop and have them test the power supply with a multimeter.
