Answer» Hi, Folks. I hope someone can help me with this one. I have a HP desktop, Model aL61ON that will not start up. -- When I unplug and replug the power cord, the little green light on the power supply comes on for just a moment and the FAN makes about a quarter turn. What is the green light all about? --And here's the odd thing. When I disconnect all the interior cables and power up the green light comes on and STAYS on!!! I do not recall if the fan starts blowing or not. Does ANYBODY have any idea what's going on? Green Light is GOOD! Normal... So if everything is connected no power up and with everything disconnected it POWERS up?
