Answer» Hi I have been looking to upgrade my ram on the home server which currently only has 8GB and had looked to upgrade it to 32gb. I looked at a few modules and thought just needed pc4 ecc ram so ordered 2 x 16GB modules installed the server powers on as normal bur nothing wont boot into bios. When I checked the RAM its PC4 2400T RE1-11 but when chech the RAM currently in the server PC4 2400T ED1-11 should it need to be this or should it work? Wish had just got the one from crucial website but went with the cheaper ram thinking would work. The MBoard should have a QVL LIST which is lab TESTED and approved RAM...THANKS will have a LOOK for this. Thanks
