have a qs can this comp be upgraded the hp xg823? im LOOKING to upgrade cpu to make better but dont know if the mother BOARD will support a 1.33 ghz  thanksblue_caddy... your motherboard manual will let you know what it will support .......have you looked ?

You will most likely have to reactive it.

Or it MAY not start at all.

If you have to reinstall Windows XP, you will only loose the files you didn't move to another partition. If you didn't partition at all, well you're screwed like a goat.
