Answer» Trying to resolve the black horizontal lines on my MONITOR. Thought I followed all directions listed in "Monitor Help". Poked this and that. Didn't FIX lines (suspect a new monitor needed), but my display is now HUGE. I poked around some more, but as my screen name implies, I haven't a clue. Dell PC and monitor Windows 98 Can you help me? type dxdiag in the run box......and CHECK ......system it maybe you have not loaded the right video drivers......also check the res........to 800x600 to do this /right click on the DESKTOP then properties tab......then settings tab/ then adavanced tab......it should read 16bit high colour......and 800x600......try a move the slider......Try another monitor with this computer and then try another computer with this monitor. Let's reduce the variables to find a solution.thank you! desktop...properties, etc. worked.
