Answer» i am using hp compaq LAPTOP with WINDOWS xp. for few days i am not HEARING DIALING tone of modem when i try to connect internet thro dial-up connection. i have maximised the sound in modem properties. so PLEASE help.Does it connect?ya, it does connect. no problem in internet connection.But you want that sound? Some voice/fax modems share audio with the audio card. Any issues there?the dialing sound before was coming, but i want to know why it stopped. as such there is no problem without it.
