Solve : i can't format my trancend 4 gb pen drive.?

it doesn't say that it is write protected. but when i PLUGGED it in to my pc it says only 2.4mb is available. in every O"Services it says same thing. i checked it using disk MANAGEMENT in windows XP ,7,and 8.1. there were unallocated 960 mb and then (healthy)2.4mb & then again unallocated  3Gb.... how can i fix it?

Yes the 4gb FILE size is a limitation of the fat32 file system.

Basically, Microsoft does not endorse ExFAT.
