Solve : I can't get my Sharp AL-840 printer/copier to print? |

Answer» I recently BOUGHT a refurbished Sharp AL-840 printer/copier. After finally finding the RIGHT driver for my XP (the disk supplied didn't support XP) and installing it, I find I can't print from a document or the web. I had asked a tech advisor at another site and after SEVERAL attempts, he said that the problem was not a software issue nor a problem with my computer. He suggested I either get a new parallel cable or a new printer! I just bought this UNIT. I can't just ditch it and buy a new one. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I really need to be able to print soon or I'll have to use my typewriter! (Heaven FORBID!) Hope someone can help. Thanks. |
